The best time to travel in Mallorca

Climate in Mallorca

The climate in Mallorca changes a lot, depending on the season. It is very important to know the climate of each season. I love to travel in Mallorca during spring, the beginning of the summer and in fall because temperatures are good, the water is amazing and I can swim without problems. Have a look to our tour in Mallorca.

In Mallorca we have four different seasons -they are all very sunny-:
  • Spring – from March 21st to June 21st – with warm sunny days and cool nights,
  • Summer – from June 21st to September 23rd – with high temperatures, warm waters, long and sunny days,
  • Fall – from September 23rd to December 21st – with warm sunny days, cool nights, still warm waters and some rainy days as well,
  • Winter – from December 21st to March 21st – with short variable days but not too much cold.

The best months to visit Mallorca

There are not good or bad months to visit Mallorca: all depends on what you want to experience here. If you want to enjoy the beautiful waters of Mallorca the best period is the beginning of summer and the beginning of fall when waters are warm and also the air is hot. Because if you want a magic atmosphere you need to travel during the low season periods. I can also advise you to travel always in the Unique Corners that only locals know, to avoid depersonalized experiences.

If you want to sail, Mallorca is the perfect island because there is a lot of wind during the day. If you want to bike or to enjoy the mountains and the local culture March, April, October, November and December are good months because you can have good temperatures and you are not in the high touristic season. Summer (July, August) is the high season period and I don’t recommend it because beaches are crowded and you lose a little bit of relax. May and June have a perfect climate and they are not so high season months.
